Assistants misbehave with Mahi Gill

So Mahi Gill spoke at length in Filmfare about how Nagesh Kukunoor’s assistants treated her badly during her struggling days. She’d gone for an audition and they made nasty cracks at her expense. She recounted the entire experience in one of our interviews. When Nagesh read the interview, he promptly scouted for Mahi’s number and got in touch with her. He apologised to the actress saying he had no clue about the trauma she went through because of his unit people. He assured her that he’d pull up the culprits so that the incident isn’t repeated ever again. Mahi, needless to say, was touched by the director’s gesture. So are we.
